What did work: reading longer books to my three year old like The Hobbit instead of a ton of kid books at night. Listening to my gut on what was happening with my body instead of the million opinions. Drinking hot water instead of cold at work to stay hydrated.
What didn’t work: saying yes to every opportunity. Thinking my alone time should be one way or no way.
Totally with you in the saying yes to every opportunity! And our son is named after a character from The Hobbit and turns 3 this month… maybe it’s time to introduce him to his namesake. 😉
I also bought my first pair of high-waisted jeans a month ago and I absolutely love them... I went back and bought two different colors of the exact same size! ha!
